In July 2018 I installed this piece, "Big Pus", at 645 Summer st in Boston for a new multi-use building by Pappas Enterprises. The octopus represents a kind of alien intellect to me. For this mural, I created cubed eyes for the creature because I'm convinced that the Octopus has access to other dimensions. This was also the first time I've painted a design on a floor indoors. For the floor I used a whey-based C2 semi-gloss paint. This design utilizes 12 different color gradations of blue for the backgound -- each represented in a 40" high horizontal stripe. This mural spans four walls and a floor across two stories.
